EXCEPTIONAL OPPORTUNITY: Elite Locomotive Welding Team - Mayfield, Kentucky
Impact is hiring NOW for an exclusive, high-profile locomotive project!

THE OPPORTUNITY
Join an elite team of master welders on a once-in-a-career project working directly with locomotives! This is not your typical welding job – this is a prestigious assignment that demands excellence and offers unparalleled hands-on experience with heavy rail equipment.

• Duration: 8 weeks (firm commitment required)
• Compensation: $35 per hour for qualified candidates with certification
• Location: Mayfield, Kentucky
• Start Date: Immediate
• Competitive per diem for meals and lodging provided, with travel to client sites within a 50-mile radius.

CERTIFIED WELDERS (10 Positions)
Essential Requirements:

• Current AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification
• ASME Section IX Pressure Vessel Certification
• Locomotive welding experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work with heavy gauge steel and specialized locomotive components
• Must commit to full 8-week duration - no exceptions

TEAM LEADER (1 Position)

• Lead this exceptional team!
• Essential Requirements:
• All certifications required for welders PLUS
• Proven leadership experience in industrial/heavy equipment welding
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred
• Railroad or locomotive experience highly valued
• Exceptional communication and team management skills
