Dermatology office with locations in Joliet and Morris hiring medical assistant. Full time/part time in Morris and Joliet. No nights/no weekends, Mon-Thur and shortened Fri hours. Applicant must be reliable, tech-savvy and be able to multi-task and willing to travel to both locations. If you're a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant with at least one year of experience, we’d love to have you on board!
As a Medical Assistant at Joliet Dermatology, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients have a seamless and positive experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting physicians with patient examinations and procedures.
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms for clinical procedures.
- Taking patient histories and updating medical records accurately.
- Educating patients on post-treatment care and answering their questions.
- Managing medical supplies and ensuring equipment is ready for use.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed.
Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to provide compassionate care will make you an integral part of our practice.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 2 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.
